Common questions
I'm not receiving the OTP code
Wait 60 seconds and tap "resend". If you still don't get it, check your phone signal and that you typed the country code correctly. Some carriers delay short codes — switching off Wi-Fi calling can help. Still stuck? Email us with the phone number you're trying to use.
How do I delete my account?
Open the App → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This wipes your profile, your plans, your messages, and your join requests. It cannot be undone.
If you can't sign in, email dev@vibex.team from the address linked to your number (or from any address with the number in the subject) and we'll delete it for you.
How do I report someone?
Tap on their profile or the plan/message → "⋯" → Report. Choose a reason and add a note if you want. We review reports the same day.
If you feel physically unsafe, contact local emergency services first.
The host hasn't approved me
Hosts approve at their own pace. They might be at work, asleep, or just choosing a smaller crowd. If you've been waiting too long, swipe to the next plan — there are usually a few options on the same night.
How does location work?
While browsing, other users see only an approximate area near where the plan is happening — never your exact GPS position, never the exact host address. The precise location is shared with you only after the host approves your join request, and only for that specific plan.
I want to host but no one is joining
Some tips:
- Post 1–3 hours before the plan starts. Same-day plans get the most traction.
- Be specific: what you're drinking, why, and what kind of vibe.
- Add your IG so people can vibe-check you.
- Choose a known venue or a clear "at my place" tag.
Is the app available outside Moldova?
